experience in Southern pine mills and pine management. While our roots run deep in
the pine industry, our vision today is centered on the future of hardwood. Our mill
specializes in cutting hardwood logs, with a primary focus on producing high-quality
cross ties that help support the backbone of American railroads and infrastructure.
Our business is a true family effort, proudly run by Chris, Beth, Evan, and Hudson, each
bringing their own skills, values, and dedication to the operation. Family has always
been at the heart of what we do, and it remains the foundation of our company.
The name Haywood Forest Products is a tribute to our grandfather, Glenn Haywood
Bracewell, whose hard work, values, and love for the land continue to inspire us every
day. His legacy reminds us that forestry isn’t just about timber, it’s about stewardship,
tradition, and building something that lasts for generations.
